Nationalizing Wall Street

I have seen socialism come to America.  The current government has “bailed out” Bear Sterns, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and AIG.  Now They’re putting 700 Billion dollars in a Wall Street “Bail Out”.  How much is this costing We the People?  About one trillion dollars-so far.

  Where is the government getting this money?  From other government budgets?  From the CIA?  From the Pentagon?  Where?  I suspect they are “paying” for this through the government printing office.  They are just printing more money.  They are cheapening the dollar and will cause rapid inflation, higher prices for gas, food, and imported goods.  Shades of the Weimer Republic!!!

When are We the People going to tell them ENOUGH!  We allowed the government to acquire more power by taking it away from us for two reasons:  selfishness and greed.  Our politicians, both sides, have promised to give us more money, more things, more of everything: just elect us.  They have been stealing from Social Security by ” borrowing” from that “Trust Fund” and replacing the money with worthless IOUs.  They never intended to pay us back.  They have been stealing for more than 40 years.  It’s about time they pay for that.  They need to be indicted and jailed forever. 

They also didn’t want to “privatize” Social Security.  Why?  Forget the lies they told us.  If Social Security was privatized, that’s money they couldn’t steal from us.  It would be untouchable.  That’s why.  Has anyone asked where  politicians put their money?  In stocks, bonds and other “private” investments.  They also put their millions in banks and brokers in other countries such as Switzerland, Lichenstein, Jamaica, Bahamas, and Tahiti.  Ask Ted Kennedy where his family fortune is?  But many of them don’t mind telling us that it’s patriotic to pay more in taxes.  To repeal the tax cuts and add more tax burden onto We the People. 

Nationalization is the first step to Socialism.  Socialism is a transit point on the way to Communism.  Where is our self esteem?  What is wrong with us?  To allow our political powers to slip away because of false promises. 

Let me quote part of a paragraph from a document please.

WE hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness — That, to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient Causes; and accordingly all Experience hath shown that Mankind are more disposed to suffer, while Evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the Forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future Security

Since US Government and Civics are not being taught in many school systems in this country I thought an introduction to a most controversial document would be appropriate: The Declaration of Independence; signed on 4 July 1776.

Pitchforks and torches anyone?  Remember that the power to tax is the power to oppress and enslave.
